The fixtures and draws for the Mainland Premier League, Women's Premier League, and Canterbury Championship League have been released.
In 2021, the MPL & WPL will fall under the collective banner of the New World Premiership. The Men's Premier League will kick-off on Friday, March 19th with Coastal Spirit travelling to take on Ferrymead Bays. The Women's Premier League will start a few weeks later on Saturday, April 3rd Nomads United taking on Coastal Spirit at Tullet Park.
Following suit with the Premier competitions, the Cantebury Championship League and Canterbury Women's Championship League will be collectively called the New World Championship in 2021. The CCL gets underway on Saturday, March 20th at 2:45 pm at English Park with Parklands United taking on Burwood AFC. The CWCL draw is yet to be confirmed.
The top five clubs from this years MPL will earn a spot in the Southern League, where they join the top three teams from the Southern Premier League, and compete in an eight-team single round-robin.
The Southern League is one of three regional leagues (Southern, Central, and Northern), where the top sides in each will qualify for the National League Championship phase - which will take place from October to December.
