The New World Premiership Season Launch was held last Sunday, March 14th, at English Park as Men's and Women's Premier clubs from around Christchurch and Nelson gathered in the English Park function room. They enjoyed some food and drinks while 'officially' launching the new season. New World store owners and Group Manager Ross Martin were present and commented on how excited they were for the upcoming season. 

Last year, New World signed on as the naming rights sponsor for the premier competitions. Mainland Football is excited for this to continue for 2021. The competitions will be known as the New World Premiership and the New World Championship.

The New World Premiership will be the branding for the Men's Premier League and Women's Premier League Competitions. The New World Championship will include the Canterbury Championship League and the Canterbury Women's Championship League. 

The New World Men's Premiership kicks-off this Friday with Coastal Spirit travelling to take on Ferymead Bays at 7:15 pm. The New World Women's Premiership starts next month on April 3rd.
