2023 Girls and Women’s Month Events

Join in this March 2023

NZ Football in conjunction with Mainland Football Girls & Women’s campaign is designed to deliver football festivals/events to aid the enrolment of girls to your club programs and for 2023 help join in the hype and excitement for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023.

This year the campaign will kick-off on 17th February when the Football Ferns KO against Portugal in Hamilton. This will be the opening match for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament. The campaign will run through to the end of March concluding Friday 31st March. 

Do you and your club want to host an event or need help?
Mainland Football can support with events, provide prizes, posters and more giveaways.

Girls Mini World Cup

Where: English Park, Cranford St
When: Thursday 23rd March 2023
Time: 4-7pm
Ages Categories:
10th Grade (9, 10 year olds)
12th Grade (11, 12 year olds)
14th Grade  (13, 14 year olds) 
Format: Skills, games, and lots of fun.

Cost: $5 per player

Register as an individual and be given a Pride Player as a coach and your team will be allocated a country that is competing in this year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Have some fun, meet some new players with lots of giveaways and prizes.

Futsal Festival

Where: Mainpower Stadium, Rangiora
When: Saturday 4th March 2023
Time: 9-10am
Ages: 5-13 year olds
Format: Skills, games, and lots of fun.
